Lisa D. Givan

Lisa D. Givan is the VP of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Belonging & Chief Diversity Officer at Indiana Institute of Technology. Lisa has committed their career to helping organizations create culturally diverse and inclusive workplaces. Lisa is an expert in developing and implementing training programs which educate employees and leadership on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences. Lisa is also savvy in providing advice, guidance and support on equality and diversity issues. Additionally, they have enhanced sensitivity to differences in sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, age, physical and mental ability and religion. Lisa is trained in researching, applying and promoting diversity initiatives and sharing best practices. Lisa also has solid communication and interpersonal skills that have been key in successful interaction with constituents from diverse ages, cultures and professions -ultimately leading to successful funding for multicultural programming and initiatives. Lastly, Lisa is skilled in providing high-quality pipeline programming collaborations which ensure students graduate with the skills and abilities that are aligned with the needs of a global economy.

Lisa D. Givan has a Master’s Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The University of Akron.
