Rakuya T.

Rakuya T. has extensive work experience in the legal field. Rakuya started their career as a Staff Attorney at Indiana Legal Services, Inc. in 2002 and worked there until 2005. Rakuya then joined a defunct law firm as an Attorney At Law from 2005 until 2014. In 2014, Rakuya returned to Indiana Legal Services, Inc. as a Staff Attorney and later became the Directing Attorney of the Medical-Legal Partnerships Team in 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Director and Director of Medical-Legal Partnerships at Indiana Legal Services, Inc. where they oversee legal operations, manages a team of attorneys and directors, and leads the development and implementation of client satisfaction surveys.

Rakuya T. holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. degree from Purdue University. They also obtained additional certifications in Nonprofit Leadership Center Management Essentials Online Connection from The Allstate Foundation and Bar Admission from the Indiana Supreme Court.
