James Parsons

James Parsons has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. James most recently served as the Administrative Director in the MSK and Oncology Service Line at Indiana University Health. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President and Chief Practice Officer. James also worked as the Regional Director of Operations at Indiana University Health and as the Service Line Director for Neuromuscular Services.

Before joining Indiana University Health, James was the Director of Business Development at Franciscan Alliance, Inc. where they were responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with regional organizations and overseeing employer-based initiatives. James also worked as the Interim Executive Director at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health-Sigma Medical Group.

Earlier in their career, James served as the Manager of Business Development at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health, where they were involved in expanding service lines and developing multidisciplinary physician teams. James also worked as the Therapy Services Department Manager at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health-Crawfordsville, where they coordinated and managed rehabilitation services.

James started their career as a Staff Physical Therapist at Greater Lafayette Health Services, where they were responsible for evaluating and directing physical therapy services. James also supervised and instructed physical therapy students during their clinical rotations.

James Parsons, P.T., FACHE holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physical Therapy from Indiana University, which was obtained from 1997 to 2001. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from Indiana University from 2008 to 2009. In 2014 to 2015, they completed their Master of Healthcare Administration degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Saint Francis. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2012.
