Leigh Lawson

Leigh Lawson is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in coding and radiologic technology. Currently serving as a Team Lead Professional Coder at Indiana University Health since September 2015, Lawson specializes in vascular surgery and plays a key role in organizing workflow for high accuracy and efficiency while also educating physicians on coding practices. Previous roles include cardiothoracic transplant coding at IU Health Physicians, certified coding at Strand Diagnostics, and various coding and administrative positions across different organizations, including community health networks and radiology practices. Lawson also holds a degree in Radiologic Technology from Hancock Memorial Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and has completed the Indiana University Health Emerging Leaders program in 2023.
