Matthew Sutter M.D.

Matthew Sutter MD MBA is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in leadership and emergency medicine. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Physician Executive at Indiana University Health since December 2021, Sutter also holds the position of Emergency Physician and Director of Medical Affairs at Adams County Memorial Hospital. Previously, Sutter was appointed as Health Commissioner for Allen County, Indiana, and has had significant roles in emergency medicine, including Medical Director at Lutheran Hospital Critical Care Transport and Lutheran Air. Sutter's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, a Master of Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
