Melora Ferren

Melora Ferren currently serves as the Vice President of Learning and Development at Indiana University Health, a position held since February 2010, and has held various roles including Vice President/Associate Chief Nurse Executive and Executive Director of Discovery & Contemporary Nursing Practice. Prior to this, Melora worked at Union Hospital from March 2000 to February 2010, serving as Associate Administrator and as a Charge/Staff Nurse in both the Outpatient Telemetry Unit and Emergency Department, where responsibilities included Assistant Nursing Care Manager from May 2005 to April 2007. Earlier experience includes a role as Charge/Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department at Marion General Hospital from July 1995 to October 1999. Melora holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Indiana University Indianapolis, a Master's degree in Nursing Education from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing, also from Indiana Wesleyan University.
