Holly Hays

Holly Hays serves as the News Editor at the Indianapolis Business Journal since January 2025, overseeing coverage and long-term planning for the publication. Prior experience includes roles as a pop culture reporter, newsroom development director, interim editor, social services reporter, and general assignment reporter at The Indianapolis Star from June 2016 to January 2025. Hays holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies and certificates in Fund Raising Management and Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, respectively. Hays's academic background also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish Linguistics from Indiana University Bloomington.
