Amelia Shepherd

Amelia Shepherd is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Nursing and Long-Term Care Unit Manager at Hooverwood Living since July 2019, alongside a role as a Registered Nurse. Prior to this, Amelia worked at Hancock Regional Hospital as a Patient Care Technician from April 2018 to May 2019. Amelia's career began with various roles, including receptionist positions at Hooverwood Indianapolis Jewish and as a Front Desk Attendant, as well as an internship with Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. Amelia holds a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Marian University Indianapolis and a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, and Society from Butler University, complemented by a strong academic background from Greenfield-Central High School, which included Academic and Technical Honors.
