Roxie Dunbar

Roxie Dunbar is the current Collections Manager at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Roxie has previous experience working in customer service and sales, as well as in exhibit development and digital collections. Dunbar began their career in the customer service industry with AAA Carolinas in 2014, where they worked as a travel consultant. Roxie then transitioned to Liberty Travel in 2013, where they worked as a travel specialist. In 2017, Dunbar interned at the Masonic Library and Museum of Indiana in Collections and Exhibit Development. Roxie also interned at the Center for Digital Scholarship, IUPUI/The Children's Museum of Indianapolis that same year.

Roxie Dunbar pursued a career in museology and museum studies, earning a bachelor's degree in history and secondary education from Kean University and an associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences from Ocean County College. Roxie then went on to earn a master's degree in museology/museum studies from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
