Praba Iyer

Praba Iyer is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Indiaspora since January 2024. In addition, Praba has been a Chef Instructor at Cooking Mastery Inc since January 1997, specializing in customized team-building experiences for corporate clients. Praba hosts a radio show focused on food and music at KZSU 90.1 FM and has contributed food articles and recipes to India Currents Magazine since January 2008. Previous roles include Director of Programs at Kanekto Inc, where a SaaS platform was developed, and participation as a contest judge for MasterChef India Auditions. Praba has held positions as a Media Talent for various projects and was the Food and Beverage Chair for the South Asian Heart Center's Scarlet Night Banquet in 2014. An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts was earned from the California Culinary Academy, along with certification in Domestic Violence Advocate Training from Save-dv.org in 2019.
