Integration Solutions Engineer

Classification: FLSA Exempt

Reports To: Director of Cloud Services

Summary

Indica Labs is looking for an experienced Integration Solutions Engineer. You will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and maintaining integrations between various software systems and platforms, as well as managing integration projects and assisting with software installation and setup at client sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Configure, modify, and optimize existing integrations between different software applications, databases, and platforms using APIs, web services, and middleware.

  • Work closely with clients and vendors to understand their integration needs and make adjustments to existing solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Collaborate with Developers, Technical Solutions and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements, system architectures, and business objectives.

  • Manage integration projects, including planning, coordinating resources, setting timelines, and ensuring successful completion within scope and budget.

  • Assist with installation, configuration, and initial setup of software solutions at client sites, providing hands-on support as needed.

  • Work closely with the Indica Labs Engineering team to follow established integration standards and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data flow, automate processes, and enhance user experience within existing integrations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies in production environments at client sites.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to integration architecture, design, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service.

  • Support commercial efforts by presenting integration capabilities to prospective clients in seminars and tradeshows, or giving technical presentations, as required.

  • Responsible for the appropriate accessing and handling of electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) as outlined by policy and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Math or related. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement maybe substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

  • One (1) year of experience in a related technical role.

  • Authorization to work in the United States, or appropriate authorization to work in the applicant’s current home country (Indica Labs, Inc. does not sponsor work visas)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of experience in a related technical role

  • Candidates located in New Mexico will receive preference

  • Familiarity with HL7 messaging standard.

  • Experience with C# programming, especially for troubleshooting purposes and collaborating with teams utilizing C# components.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with GraphQL or other API designs such as REST, CRUD.

  • Proficiency in Python, particularly in object-oriented programming, with the ability to make adjustments to existing scripts.

  • Knowledge of relational databases, with a preference for experience with MySQL. Experience with other database systems is also transferable.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, bash, and batch scripting, providing the ability to automate tasks and enhance integration processes.

  • Experience with Identity Provider systems, specifically with OIDC (OpenID Connect), contributing to enhanced authentication and security within integrations.

  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate resources, and meet project deadlines.

  • Skills in installation and configuration for deploying software solutions at client sites.

  • Strong customer service orientation and soft skills.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Ability to absorb and explain technical issues.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

  • Strong skills in researching issues and the ability to learn new technologies/systems.

Location

This position is based at our headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is eligible for in office, hybrid, or remote work options.
