Sean Griffiths has had a varied career in the science and sales industry. Sean began their career in 2005 as an Undergraduate Student at Swansea University where they worked on a 6 month project titled 'The role of B-catenin in the androgen receptor pathway'. In 2009, they returned to Swansea University to pursue a PhD. In 2011, they completed two secondments, one at Bruker Nano Surfaces where they developed a live cell endometrial model and mapped nano-mechanical surface properties, and another at Trinity College Dublin where they applied INCELL analyser based high content screening to assess the toxicity of various sized cobalt nanoparticles. In 2014, they joined Malvern Instruments as a Product Technical Specialist - Life Sciences, providing global specialist application support for particle characteristion instrumentation. Finally, in 2016, they joined Indica Labs as a Distribution Channel Manager EMEA, Sales Applications Manager EMEA, and Sales Application Scientist.
Sean Griffiths obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology from Swansea University in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Genetics from Swansea University in 2009, for which they were awarded the JA Beardmore Prize in Genetics.
