Baiyin Murphy

Baiyin Murphy is a General Partner at Indicator Ventures. Baiyin focuses on early stage enterprise companies. Prior to joining Indicator, Baiyin worked as a Principal at Ascent Venture Partners where they helped lead investments in Splash, Connected2Fiber, GR8 People, Empow (acq. by Cyberreason), RapidMiner, Revulytics (acq. by Flexera), Vee24, and Promoboxx. From 2014 to 2016, Murphy worked as an Associate at OpenView Venture Partners where they helped lead investments in Logikcull, Lesson.ly (acq. by Seismic), and SwiftStack (acq. by NVIDIA). Prior to their venture career, Baiyin worked in business development and operations at ClearSky Power & Technology Fund and Babson College.

Baiyin Murphy has a BBA from William & Mary in Finance & Accounting and Art & Art Baiyin'story. Baiyin also has an Advanced Virginia High School Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
