Marissa Grey

Marissa Grey's work experience starts in 2014 when they joined Critical Mass as the Creative Talent Director. During their time at Critical Mass, they hired teams in New York and Sunnyvale offices and specialized in strategic creative hiring globally.

In 2016, Marissa joined Huge as the Director of Creative Services and later became the Recruitment Director. At Huge, they co-led a Recruitment team and focused on creative and technology hiring. Marissa also spearheaded the hiring efforts for Huge's Chicago location.

In 2018, Marissa joined Gensler as the Associate and Firmwide Recruitment Lead. Marissa was responsible for talent acquisition for the Digital Experience Design, Intelligent Places, and Connected Experiences groups. Additionally, they led firmwide strategic practice area recruitment, hiring senior leaders globally.

In 2021, Marissa worked as the Principal Recruiter at VTS before founding their own company, Hello Grey, where they currently serve as the Founder and Principal Recruiter.

Marissa also has experience as an Advisor at Proteus Motion and Indicator Ventures. Marissa served as the Head of Talent at Indicator Ventures and provided mentorship at the #HIREBLACK Initiative. Marissa was also a member of AIR Allies in Recruiting.

Most recently, Marissa joined Airbnb in 2022 as a Design Sourcer.

Marissa Grey obtained their B.A. degree in Anthropology and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Journalism from Emerson College between 2007 and 2009. Before their college education, between 1999 and 2003, Marissa attended Dana Hall School, from which no specific degree or field of study information is provided. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Culture from Six Figure Jobs Inc. in October 2020, specifically through the Equify program.
