Joel S Pereira

Joel S Pereira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer care, sales, and marketing within the tourism and travel industry. Currently serving as a Senior Booking Specialist at Indie Campers since October 2020, Joel has developed skills in customer support and sales partnerships. Prior to this, Joel worked at VMT Madeira as a Sales and Marketing Assistant, where responsibilities included CRM implementation and managing online sales. Additionally, Joel has a background as a Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservationist with the Serviço do Parque Natural da Madeira and has contributed to tourism planning as President of the AGPTUA. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Management Information Systems at Universidade Aberta, Joel holds a degree in Tourism and Management Planning from Universidade de Aveiro and has training in Environmental Tourism Planning from the Università di Bologna.
