Mahmoud Kassem

Mahmoud Kassem is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in automotive embedded software development and project management. Currently serving as the Director and Manager for Automotive Embedded Software at indie Semiconductor, Mahmoud leads software development for Automotive Radar chips and manages distributed teams. Previously, Mahmoud held the position of Senior Manager at AMD, overseeing the development and integration of the 5G Radio Unit Embedded Software Platform. Mahmoud's expertise spans multiple roles in companies such as Magna International, Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe GmbH, and Valeo, where responsibilities included software engineering, compliance with ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE, and leadership of large teams. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Communications and Information Technology from Nile University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
