Sam Fragoso is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in film criticism and podcasting. As the host of the weekly podcast Talk Easy since April 2016, Sam fosters intimate discussions with a diverse range of guests. Additionally, Sam founded and serves as the editor-in-chief for Movie Mezzanine, leading a team of over 40 writers in covering various aspects of cinema. With a background in features writing for RogerEbert.com and contributions to multiple publications including SF Bay, The Week, Pitchfork Media, Indiewire, and Film School Rejects, Sam has established a strong presence in film journalism. Sam's career began as the owner and sole writer of Duke & The Movies, and education culminated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from San Francisco State University.
