Jon Hodgetts

Jonny Hodgetts currently serves as the Indigenous Desert Alliance Coordinator for the Indigenous Desert Alliance since October 2021. Previously, Jonny held the position of Ranger Group Development Coordinator at the Central Land Council from January 2019 to October 2021, where responsibilities included developing emerging Indigenous Ranger teams in Kintore, Utopia Homelands, and Finke. Additionally, as the Angas Downs IPA Coordinator, Jonny contributed to conservation efforts in that area. From January 2014 to December 2018, Jonny worked as the Regional Coordinator for Territory Natural Resource Management, focusing on the Arid Lands and Tablelands of the Northern Territory. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Officer for the Barkly Landcare and Conservation Association from March 2012 to January 2014, managing a weed management program across Barkly cattle stations in the Lake Sylvester catchment area.
