Shannon Wermers

Shannon Wermers has extensive experience in various professional roles, currently serving as a CCS/Events Coordinator for M. McGurk at First Command Financial Services since June 2013. In addition, Shannon is an author and writer at Indigo River Publishing, working on a book that shares the personal journey of losing a husband in a military training accident. Shannon also engages in public speaking, focusing on the critical importance of financial and legal preparedness in the event of a spouse's death, drawing from personal experiences as a young widow with two small children and one on the way. Additionally, Shannon operates SW Photography, specializing in newborn and wedding photography since April 2007. Educational background includes attendance at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City from 2002 to 2005.
