Ben Allen

SVP, Head of Global Market Development at Indigo

Ben comes to Indigo with over 20 years of experience in the worlds of agriculture and technology.

Previously serving as Chief Revenue Officer at AGRI-TREND, one of the largest agronomy services providers in North America based out of Calgary, Canada, Ben spearheaded sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategy, with an emphasis on precision ag software products. In 2015, following AGRI-TREND's acquisition by Trimble Navigation, Ben focused on leading the global launch of the consolidated software platform that today is known as Trimble Ag Software.

He also has worked at Advanced Micro Devices, where he had the privilege to support both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 customers. In 2001, he founded his own company, New American Farm, a startup dedicated to family farmers that worked to develop a transformative business model for the industry. Ben was originally introduced to agriculture as part of the family business that his father started in 1979, a grain marketing advisory firm named RWA Financial Services. As the National Head of Sales for RWA, he was part of a team that served over 1,000 family farms.
