Richard Michalka

Richard Michalka is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in data science and software development. Currently serving as the CEO and Lead Data Scientist at Luminance since November 2022, Richard also holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at both Indigo Education Company and IndigoPathway since October 2019. Prior roles include Software Engineer at the University of Colorado Denver and various positions at Allstate, including Software Developer and IT Manager, spanning nearly a decade. Richard's educational background includes a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with focuses on Human Centered Design and Innovation and Anthropology from the University of Colorado Denver.
