Acting Co Executive Director at Indivisible Project

Mari U. has a diverse work experience in the political sphere. Mari most recently served as the Managing Director at the Indivisible Project, starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief of Staff from June 2019 to December 2020 at the same organization. Mari also served as the National Political Director at Indivisible Project from May 2017 to December 2020.

Before joining Indivisible Project, Mari worked at Voto Latino as the Vice President of Politics & Campaigns from October 2015 to February 2017. Mari also served as a Senior Policy Advisor for Hispanic and Asian Affairs at U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from March 2014 to October 2015.

In their earlier years, Mari worked as a Legislative Aide/Correspondence Manager for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from 2011 to 2014. Mari also worked as the Northern Nevada Constituency Coordinator at Obama for America in October and November 2012.

Mari's career began in 2008 when they served as a Legislative Fellow for the Office of U.S. Senator Harry Reid, Majority Leader at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Mari then went on to work as a Legislative Correspondent at U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from April 2009 to November 2010.

In 2010, they worked as the Northern Nevada Latino and Asian Political Outreach Coordinator at Friends for Harry Reid. Overall, Mari U. has held various roles and positions throughout their career, demonstrating a strong background in political affairs and public service.

Mari U. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. No specific start or end dates were provided for this education.
