Indranil Majumdar

Indranil Majumdar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and management across various sectors, particularly in agriculture and retail. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at FE Indorama Agro LLC since October 2021, Indranil oversees large mechanized farms in Uzbekistan, managing over 75,000 hectares for food crop production. Previously, as the Commercial Lead for Mahyco in South and East Africa, Indranil held regional P&L responsibilities and was a key member of the leadership team. Indranil's tenure at Olam included roles as Vice President, where remarkable turnaround efforts in Zimbabwe were made, and General Manager, establishing a large cotton farming business in Africa. Additional experience includes senior positions at Reliance Retail, Spencer's, CEAT Tyres Limited, and Philips India Ltd. Indranil holds advanced degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, among others.
