Matt Butcher

CEO at Inductosense

Matt Butcher has a long and varied work experience. Matt began their career in 2001 as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Oxford Applied Research. In 2004, they moved on to become a Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales. In 2005, they became a Sales and Marketing Manager at Thorlabs. In 2010, they became a Technology Transfer Manager at Bath Ventures. In 2013, they became a Director at Ultrahaptics. In 2014, they served as IP Manager at the National Composites Centre and Director at PCIP Ltd, a spin-out from the University of Bristol. Finally, in 2015, they became the CEO of Inductosense.

Matt Butcher completed their PhD in Physics - Nanotechnology from the University of Nottingham in 2000. Matt obtained their Masters in Physics from the University of Leicester in 1997. In 2007, they earned their Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from The Open University.
