Carol Farr

Carol Lynn Farr has extensive work experience in scientific research and protein sciences. Carol Lynn is currently a Senior Associate Scientist and Research Operations Lead at InduPro since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GNF from 2014 to 2022, where they held the position of Principal Scientist I. Their responsibilities included coordinating protein expression queues, designing and cloning antigens and antibodies, streamlining workflows, and developing high-throughput cloning techniques. Carol Lynn also managed databases, trained colleagues, and presented their work in various meetings.

Before joining GNF, Carol worked at The Scripps Research Institute from 2008 to 2014. Carol Lynn served as the Crystallomics Core Pipeline Manager/Res. Asst. IV and was responsible for managing research partnerships, overseeing teams, and facilitating protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid crystal structures. Carol Lynn also held the role of Laboratory Manager/Research Assistant III and managed the high-throughput JCSG pipeline for T-cell and Stem Cell Biology Partnership Targets.

Carol's early career included roles at Michigan State University, where they worked as a Research Assistant II from 1994 to 2007 and as a Graduate Research Assistant from 1994 to 1997. In these positions, they managed the lab, trained and supervised students, and assisted in the preparation of publications and grants.
