Manoj Sarangi

Manoj Sarangi is an accomplished professional in the field of information security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at IndusInd Bank since April 2024. Prior to this role, Manoj held various senior positions, including Senior Vice President and CISO at National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) from December 2016 to April 2024, and Vice President and CISO at HCL Technologies from May 2013 to October 2016. Additional experience includes significant roles at Aditya Birla Group as AVP and CISO, Deloitte as Director, and a member of the Certification Advisory Board for the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Earlier in the career, Manoj served as Chief Privacy and Security Officer for IBM in India & South Asia, IS Lead at Hewlett-Packard, and Scientist C at the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology for the Government of India. Educational qualifications include an M Tech in Computer Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya, alongside degrees from Rice Business and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
