Sumit Singla is an accomplished banking and financial services professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Business Head of INDIE by IndusInd Bank since June 2022, Sumit has successfully built and launched a full-stack digital bank, overseeing its setup, operations, and P&L management. Previously, Sumit held the position of Vice President at Bharti Enterprises, leading strategy and growth for financial services, including Bharti AXA General and Life Insurance. Further experience includes a Vice President role at Mastercard Advisors, managing consulting engagements across the Asia Pacific, and a consulting position at Bain & Company, contributing to numerous strategic initiatives across various sectors. Sumit also has a strong educational background, holding an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a dual degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
