María Troncoso de Gibbs has had significant work experience in the photography industry. María started their career in 2008 as a Photo Assistant at Imke Lass Photography, where they scanned and retouched film and assisted with photo shoots. In 2009, they worked as a Photo Assistant at Reel Sessions, providing assistance to various photographers and agency projects. In 2011, María began working as a Freelance Photographer at The Washington Post and later joined the Photography Industry in Los Angeles, specifically at Troncoso & Gibbs Studio, Inc, as a Digital Capture Technician. In subsequent years, they worked as a Freelance Digital Tech at various studios and companies, including ALO Yoga, DigitalFusion, Versatile Studios NYC/LA, Smashbox Studios, and Industrial Color. María'smost recent role was as a Freelance Digital Tech at Milk from 2019 to 2020. Throughout their career, María has gained a wide range of technical and creative skills in digital photography and image processing.
María Troncoso de Gibbs attended Florida State University from 2003 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Liberal Arts. In 2005, they transferred to the Savannah College of Art and Design, completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography in 2008.
