Duane McCarty has a diverse work history with experience in various roles and industries. Duane began their career in the US Navy as a Chief Machinest Mate in 2007 and later worked as a Chemistry, Materials, and Radiological Fundamentals Instructor at the Nuclear Power School. McCarty also served as the Reactor Laboratory Leading Chief Petty Officer and Centralized Work Control Team Leading Chief on the USS George Washington (CVN-73) Aircraft Carrier. Duane then moved to the Submarine Learning Center as a Surface Engineering Laboratory Technician LCPO Instructor. Most recently, McCarty worked as a Force CRA at the US Navy before joining Industrial Compressor Solutions, Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Operations in 2023.
Duane McCarty holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University. Additionally, they have obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in 2022, and a Master Training Specialist certification from the US Navy in 2013.
