Nothile Potwana

Nothile Potwana serves as a Senior Legal Counsel at the Industrial Development Corporation since July 2020, bringing extensive experience in legal management and commercial law. Previously, Nothile held the position of Legal Manager at Standard Bank Group from September 2012 to July 2017, specializing in negotiating and drafting trade finance transactions. Earlier legal experience includes serving as an Attorney at Shai Mngomezulu Inc, where Nothile focused on commercial drafting and civil litigation, and as a Candidate Attorney at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, rotating through Labour and Corporate Commercial Departments. Nothile's academic background includes an LL Degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, complemented by foundational education at St Francis College Mariannhill.
