Dan Leistra-Jones

Dan Leistra-Jones currently serves as Principal at Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc) with expertise in financial analysis within environmental enforcement contexts since May 2009. Prior roles include Senior Associate at IEc, where responsibilities involved assessing ability to pay and economic benefits from regulatory noncompliance, and Associate at GE Energy Financial Services, focusing on due diligence for renewable energy investments. Dan's early experience includes a Regulatory Policy Internship at the California Public Utilities Commission, where mathematical models were developed to evaluate financial impacts of renewable policies, as well as internships at Rocky Mountain Institute and World Resources Institute, contributing to long-term energy strategies and renewable energy partnerships. Dan holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, complemented by a BA in Environmental Studies and Music from Amherst College.
