Dr. Arun Kannath Ceng

Dr. Arun Kannath CEng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dr. Arun is currently working at Industrial Physics as the Product Design & Chief Technical Manager. Prior to this, they worked at MIRICO as the Technical Manager for five years. Dr. Arun also served as a Senior Instrumentation Scientist at Cascade Technologies for a year. Dr. Kannath was employed at Geotech UK, where they held the positions of R&D Engineer and Product Development Engineer. Dr. Arun started their career as a KTP Associate/R&D Optical Engineer at Cranfield University.

Dr. Arun Kannath CEng has a diverse education history. Dr. Arun obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Bharathiar University between 1997 and 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Instrumentation and Analytical Science from The University of Manchester from 2002 to 2003. Dr. Kannath then furthered their education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Optoelectronics at the University of Southampton from 2004 to 2008.

During their academic journey, they also pursued additional certifications. In 2008, they completed the Level 5 Diploma in Project Management & Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK.

Recently, in August 2020, Dr. Kannath obtained a certification called "Engineering Manager to Director - Unit 2: Directors’ Roles and Responsibilities" from CrossKnowledge. Dr. Arun also completed the certification "Engineering Manager to Director - Unit 1: Introduction", although the specific completion date for this certification is not provided.
