Vice President of Origination at Industrial Sun

Alexandra Williams has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Alexandra is currently serving as the Vice President of Origination at Industrial Sun since January 2022. Previously, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Lead Power Trader/Lead Originator from July 2019 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for renewable power purchase agreement (PPA) origination, contract negotiation, evaluation, and management. Alexandra successfully closed several PPAs within a year, including large-scale behind-the-meter projects. Before that, Alexandra worked at EDF as an ERCOT Energy Manager from August 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they managed wind energy units within the ERCOT region and optimized revenue through daily calls with asset owners. Alexandra also has experience as an Asset Manager at MP2 Energy, LLC from January 2013 to July 2017.

Alexandra Williams attended the University of Houston from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a focus on Political Science and Government. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, specializing in American History. In 2017, they acquired a certification as a NERC Reliability Coordinator from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
