Cath Bowtell

Cath Bowtell is an experienced leader with a diverse background in various sectors, including healthcare, finance, and trade unions. Currently serving as Chairperson and Deputy Chair at The Royal Women's Hospital since July 2016, and as Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer at Industry Fund Services since December 2016, Bowtell also holds directorial positions at IFM Investors and The New Daily. Previous roles include Director at Ausgrid and Industry Fund Services, and Chief Executive at AGEST Super, where management of retirement savings for 140,000 members was a focus. Bowtell’s earlier career includes significant contributions at the Australian Council of Trade Unions, advocating for workers' rights, particularly for women and carers. Educationally, Bowtell holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees from the University of Melbourne.
