Greetings, I'm Tyler Peery, an entrepreneur based in Mapleton, Utah.
Back in 2018, I started a cookie delivery venture called Dirty Dough right from my apartment in Tempe, Arizona. The results were astounding – we skyrocketed from just 5 sales on the first night to a remarkable 60 sales on Friday. I handled deliveries while my wife was the baking maestro. The very next week, we brought on our first employee and the business started to flourish. Fast forward to 2020, with the support of a few investors, we opened our first physical store. Come 2021, I made the decision to sell the business to one of our initial investors, and now, Dirty Dough has evolved into a successful franchise. It's crazy to think it all began in our tiny apartment.
In 2020, I took over a struggling donut shop in Scottsdale, Arizona, known as Alien Donuts. I provided consultation to the owner/operator for around six months before he approached me to buy him out. Together with a few partners, we transformed this small business into a multi-unit donut enterprise with a dozen wholesale clients and a ghost kitchen operation capable of churning out hundreds of donuts each night. In 2021, a mere 18 months after acquiring Alien Donuts, my wife and I decided to sell our interests and return to our home state of Utah.
Early in 2022, my wife and I embarked on a new business venture known as Indy Clover, a thrift store concept. It's an innovative model that we're eager to introduce to the world. My immediate objective was to expand the brand through franchising. To date we have 9 stores open, 2 stores opening next month, and another 10 stores on the way. I am actively seeking strategic partners and advisors with franchising expertise or executive-level experience at prominent retailers to help me scale the business. I'm thrilled about the exciting opportunities that lie ahead!
