William Le Roux has worked in the software engineering industry since 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he worked as a Full Stack Developer at Airbus Protect, where he had an interest in cybersecurity and used languages such as Ruby, Python, SQL, HTML 5, and CSS 3 to develop web applications. William also maintained applications in operational and security conditions, deployed applications and administered networks and systems. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a Software Engineer at Airbus Protect, working on Fence, a risk assessment and management software. His roles included contributing to the quality and security of the application, back-end Ruby and Rails development, peer reviews, architecture design, and property based testing. William also did vulnerability monitoring and deployment and hardening of Docker, RedHat, Debian, and OpenShift, as well as establishing a secure process for Windows deployment of the applications. In 2022, he moved to IndyKite, where he is currently a Software Engineer.
William Le Roux has a comprehensive education history. William completed a Bachelor's degree in Technologies de l'information from EPITECH - European Institute of Technology between 2016 and 2019. William then obtained a Master of Computer Science from the same institution in September 2021. In 2019 and 2020, they attended Stockholm University for a course in information security. William then obtained a Master's degree in Information security from the University of technology from Troyes in 2023.
