Cátia Nunes

Cátia Nunes has a diverse work experience with a focus on statistical analysis. Cátia started their career in 2004 as a Researcher at ICS - Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa. During their time there, they contributed to various research projects at the European level, including the European Social Survey, the European Values Study, and the International Social Survey Programme. Cátia also participated in a project funded by the European Commission on female migration in Europe - Female Migration Vision. In 2008, Cátia joined INE as a Statistician and later became the Head of Labour Market Statistics in January 2023. Cátia'srole at INE is ongoing, and they remain committed to utilizing their statistical skills in this position.

Cátia Nunes began their education in 2000 at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they pursued a degree in Social and Organizational Psychology within the field of Social Sciences. Cátia successfully completed their studies in 2004. In 2006, they enrolled at NOVA FCSH and pursued a Master's degree in Migration Studies, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained a certification in Data Visualization from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Furthermore, they received a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge in 2004.
