Annelies Ollieuz

Annelies Ollieuz is Global Education Manager with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). She has more than 13 years’ experience from the education sector, in development and humanitarian contexts, and in Norway. In her current role, she leads the education core competency and the team consisting of global and regional education advisors. Her responsibilities include education policy and strategies, technical development, and representation. Her field experience includes the humanitarian responses in Iraq, South Sudan and Syria (conflict), Haiti and Nepal (earthquake), Ethiopia and Niger (drought), Liberia (Ebola), and Nigeria (floods). Annelies is a trained social worker and has a PhD in social anthropology.
