Richard Peters has over 30 years of work experience in the automotive industry. Richard currently holds the position of Ineos Automotive Lead Supplier Quality Engineer at INEOS Automotive since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Jaguar Land Rover for a significant part of their career. Their roles at Jaguar Land Rover included being a Special Vehicle Operations Accessory Manager, Project Engineer for Accessories and Engineering To Order (ETO), Product Validation Engineer, and Homologation Engineer. Before joining Jaguar Land Rover, Richard worked at Hymatic Engineering as a Development and Repair Technician, where they were responsible for investigating, repairing, and developing components for both civil and military aircraft. Richard also started their career at Hymatic Engineering as a Technician Apprentice.

Richard Peters attended Woodrush High School from 1980 to 1985. Following their high school education, they enrolled at North East Worcestershire College from 1985 to 1990, obtaining an HNC in Engineering, specifically focusing on Mechanical Engineering. In 2012, Richard pursued higher education at Coventry University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Engineering.
