Alaa Mahmoud

Alaa Mahmoud is an accomplished architect and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the architecture and interior design industries. As a co-founder and board member of INERTIA EGYPT since September 2007, Alaa has also served as the Chief Architect and Founding Partner at AURA, a firm specializing in interior architecture and urbanism. In addition, Alaa founded Aura Home in January 2020 and served as the Founder and Executive Manager of LACegman from January 2013 to January 2021, focusing on business planning and major account management. Earlier in the career, Alaa worked as an interior designer at CEGMAN, where responsibilities included leading the interior design and landscape teams. Alaa holds a Master's degree in Construction Management from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Cairo University.
