Jana Kalna

Jana Kalna has a diverse work experience beginning in 2016. Jana started as an IT Recruiter for QUICKSOURCE, spol. s r.o. where they were responsible for interviews, CRM, LinkedIn, identifications and pre-selection of suitable candidates from various sources, search, selection and negotiation of terms of cooperation with potential clients. In 2017, they became a Test Automation Engineer for tesena | SMART TESTING, a provider of highly skilled testing resources and the most appropriate knowledge in software testing. Jana was then outsourced for several projects and clients. In 2018, they became a Test Automation Engineer - Project for CEMEX, where they were responsible for QA in Case Management, working in an international multicultural Agile team, testing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, manual testing and Test Automation in C#, defect management, creating Test Cases, Bugs etc., and regression testing and exploratory testing. Jana also became a UX/UI Designer for ProStream Digital. In 2020, they became a UX Designer for Národní pedagogický institut České republiky and a Product Designer for an unnamed company. In 2021, they became a Product Designer for SinnerSchrader and in 2022 they became a Senior Product Designer for Inex One | The Expert Network Marketplace.

Jana Kalna is currently enrolled in the Interaction Design Foundation, a non-profit educational organization for design professionals, where they are studying UX Design/Research. Jana previously attended the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where they discontinued their studies in the Faculty of Economics and Management. Jana also attended SPŠS a OA Kladno (Secondary Technical School of Civil Engineering and Business College), where they completed a Technical Lyceum. In addition, Jana has obtained certifications in User Experience: The Beginner’s Guide, Advance Your Skills as a User Experience Researcher, Design Thinking: Implementing the Process, DevOps Foundations: Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration, and ISTQB Foundation Level.
