Francisco Revilla

Francisco Revilla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Francisco is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at INFARM since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TÜV SÜD as a Technical Lead from March 2018 to March 2021.

From 2012 to 2018, Francisco worked at PHOENIX CONTACT Cyber Security AG as a Software Engineer. Francisco'srole involved software engineering of industrial cyber security products and solutions, with a focus on the mGuard portfolio. Francisco utilized Lean software development and Scrum methodologies for project-based development and had expertise in areas such as security, Java, Python, devops, and networking.

Before that, Francisco worked at Friendsurance as a Software Developer from March 2011 to February 2012. Francisco'sresponsibilities included the development of a social insurance network, with a focus on DevOps and Business Intelligence.

Francisco also gained experience as a Researcher & Software Engineer at Freie Universität Berlin from November 2009 to February 2011. During this time, they conducted applied research in the field of Biodiversity Informatics and developed a platform called the EDIT Platform for Cybertaxonomy for collaborative work on biodiversity data.

Additionally, Francisco had an internship as a Software Developer at Ventura24 from October 2006 to June 2007.

Francisco Revilla's education history includes obtaining a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2001 to 2009. In addition, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in IT Security from Fachhochschule Hannover from 2007 to 2009.

Francisco Revilla also holds several certifications. In June 2022, they obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from A Cloud Guru. In July 2020, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation, as well as certifications such as Kubernetes the Hard Way and Cloud Native Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from Linux Academy. Moreover, they obtained the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation in July 2020.
