Ranga Vithanage has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting field. In 2023, they joined INFARM as a Finance Manager, where they are responsible for overseeing financial operations. Prior to this, they worked at Future Fibres, starting in 2020. At Future Fibres, they served as a Senior Accountant, actively participating in month-end and year-end closing processes, and gaining experience in both manufacturing and service industries. Ranga also held the role of Accountant, where they managed bank accounts, reconciled inter-company accounts, and handled accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Before joining Future Fibres, Ranga worked at EY since 2017. During their tenure, they fulfilled the role of Senior Accountant, specializing in auditing, financial reporting, financial analysis, and process improvement. Ranga also served as an Audit Trainee, where they prepared financial statements, conducted audits, and assessed the effectiveness of internal controls in various organizations. Overall, Ranga has a strong background in finance, accounting, and audit processes.
Ranga Vithanage completed their Bachelor of Business Management (Special) Degree in Accountancy at the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka from 2015 to 2019. Following this, Ranga pursued additional education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka to obtain a Certified Corporate Accountant qualification in Accounting.
