Victor Grenke

Victor Grenke, PhD, has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Victor co-founded and served as a team leader at SpecForge from 2007 to the present, managing a team of specialists and participating in the development of several projects. Victor was also an IoT Embedded Software and Hardware Developer at INFARM from 2016 to the present, where they were responsible for the full development cycle of an automatic controller board with IoT support for Farms. Victor has also worked as a Video Streaming Back-end Developer at NXGEN Technology AG from 2018 to 2020 and as an IoT Software Developer at Nabto from 2017 to 2018, both as remote independent contractor roles.

In addition, Victor has prior experience as a PhD researcher and engineer at the Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science SB RAS from 2004 to 2015, where they conducted research and performed analysis of acoustic emission signals and computed mechanical properties of materials. Victor also worked as a PhD Associate Professor and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) from 1999 to 2014, as well as fulfilling a role as a Research Assistant at the university. Furthermore, they have worked as a Software Developer at Panasonic as an independent contractor in 2011 and as a Hardware Developer at Key Digital Systems as a remote independent contractor from 2007 to 2009. Victor also has experience as a Software and Hardware Developer at Computer Vision Systems from 2005 to 2007 and as a Team Leader and Embedded Developer at Digilant Systems from 2004 to 2006.

Victor Grenke, PhD, has an extensive education history spanning several years in computer science and electronics. From 1993 to 1999, they attended Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics and obtained an Engineer's degree. During this time, they focused on studying subjects such as analog and digital electronics, radio analog/digital communication, and computer systems. In 1997, Victor participated in an internship at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, where they gained practical experience in FPGA programming and VHDL. Victor further pursued their education at Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics from 2000 to 2011, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science with a specialization in digital processing and math modeling.
