Director Of Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Services at Infectious Disease Connect

Matthew Davis has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Matthew most recently worked at Infectious Disease Connect, starting in 2022 as an Infectious Diseases Pharmacist and later becoming the Director of Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Services in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at UCLA Health from 2019 to 2022 as an Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist. Matthew also gained experience at UC Davis Health, where they completed their PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency from 2018 to 2019 and their PGY-1 Acute Care Pharmacy Residency from 2017 to 2018. Before their residencies, they worked as a Pharmacy Intern at University Medical Center Brackenridge and Target. Matthew started their career in 2011 as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy.

Matthew Davis attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2013, studying Biochemistry. Matthew then pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree from The University of Texas at Austin, which they obtained in 2017. Additionally, Matthew has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Immunization, and Medication Therapy Management, obtained from the American Heart Association and the American Pharmacists Association.
