Tori Kinamon

Patient Advocate For Mrsa/ AMR at Infectious Diseases Society of America

Tori Kinamon is an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at the United States Air Force since August 2019 and a Health Professions Scholarship Program recipient. Currently engaged with the World Health Organization's Task Force of Antimicrobial Resistance Survivors, Tori also advocates for MRSA and antimicrobial resistance through the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Tori has previously served as an ORISE Fellow at the FDA, focusing on anti-infective clinical trials, and has worked as an Infection Prevention Consultant at GOJO Industries. Additional roles include conducting research at Rhode Island Hospital on MRSA, coaching gymnastics, and leading educational initiatives on health and wellness at Brown University, where Tori earned a BA in Health and Human Biology. Tori is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Duke University School of Medicine, anticipated in 2024.
