Mateusz Głód, MD, PhD, currently serves as the Medical Operations Manager at Infermedica, where responsibilities include supporting operations and enhancing cross-team processes. Głód is also a member of the International Telecommunication Union/WHO/WIPO Global Initiative AI for Health, and acts as an external expert for Ai4Health, focusing on Artificial Intelligence applications in healthcare. In addition to these roles, Głód has extensive experience in general surgery, having worked with Medicover Poland, LUX MED, and St. Hedwig Hospital in Trzebnica, where notable positions included Deputy Head of the Department of General Surgery. Głód's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science and a Doctor of Medicine, both from Wroclaw Medical University, along with significant teaching experience as a lecturer in surgery.
