Colm Leonard serves as the Chief Clinical Officer and Chair of the Clinical Development Committee at INFEX Therapeutics, focusing on the strategy for the antimicrobial resistance pipeline and overseeing clinical development plans. Holding a Non-Executive Director role and Chair of Clinical Development Committee at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre since August 2019, Colm has also been an Honorary Professor of Respiratory Medicine at University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust since October 2000, where responsibilities include leading the Regional Interstitial Lung Disease service. Previously, Colm served as a Consultant Clinical Advisor and Clinical Lead for the UK Antimicrobial Value Assessment at NICE, contributing to various strategic initiatives, and has extensive experience from a Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. Colm earned an MB BCh BAO BA in Medicine from the University of Dublin, Trinity College between 1985 and 1991.

Based at Alderley Park in the North West of England, our work addresses unmet patient needs and will bring new portfolio of drugs into clinical trials to treat patients suffering from life-threatening infections.
