Huidong Zang

Huidong Zang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager at INFICON since November 2016, following roles as Application Development Engineer and Product Engineer. Prior experience includes a Research Associate position at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where Huidong led projects in instrument construction for Time Resolved Infrared Spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy. As a Postdoctoral Scholar at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Huidong focused on light harvesting devices and conducted confocal optical spectroscopy on various nanomaterials. Earlier work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Tennessee involved research on optoelectronic devices and the development of high-efficiency semiconductor devices, culminating in a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Science and Technology from Jilin University.
