Peter Sammut

Peter Sammut has an extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence and data engineering. Peter currently works as a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer at Iberdrola Australia since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at AGL Australia as a Data Engineer from June 2021 to May 2023. Peter also held the position of Senior Data Engineer in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse at AustralianSuper from August 2019 to June 2021. Peter has worked with various companies including Mercer Australia, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, IMS Health, ANZ, and Australia Post in senior roles related to business intelligence, data migration, and development. Their expertise lies in Microsoft BI tools, Power BI, Tableau, and various other data analysis and reporting platforms.

Peter Sammut received their education from Swinburne University of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from 1998 to 2001. Peter also holds the certification of Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 from Microsoft.
